Outreach

Youth Mission Trip
During summer 2007 our high school youth and adult supervisors traveled to Bay City, MI, to take part in a Group Workcamp. Our delegation joined others from around the country to help the residents with a wide range of home renovation needs. In summer 2008 the group will travel to Poplar Grove, MO.

Local Food Pantry
Non-perishable food donations and paper products are welcome and collected for the local food pantry, FISH (Friend, I Shall Help).

Local School Children
Winter outerwear is collected to benefit local school children.

Rainbow Covenant
In addition to supporting the United Methodist Special Sundays (Human Relations Day, One Great Hour of Sharing, Native American Awareness, Peace with Justice, World Communion Sunday, and United Methodist Student Day) with offerings, our Missions Committee chooses one project from each of the other seven colors of the rainbow, supporting not only worldwide efforts (a rural hospital in Mozambique) but those closer (a residence serving persons with Alzheimer's).

Other Local, Regional & Global Missions Projects
Our church participates in events including the CROP Walk for Hunger.
