Sunday School & Nursery Registration
All children in the nursery and Sunday School must have a completed
registration form on file. The forms are available on the Fireside Room bulletin
board or print the nursery
or Sunday School form here.
Nursery
A nursery is provided on Sunday mornings, beginning as early as 9:30 a.m.,
for infants and toddlers, supervised by two adults. Children who turn three
during the school year remain in the nursery until September when the regular
Sunday School program begins.
Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten
During the school year, Sunday School is provided for children beginning at age three in Pre-K.
Children begin the day attending worship and, after Children's Time, are
dismissed to class. Both
the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes feature a traditional Sunday School
format, using the Bible Zone® series, with music and crafts.
Grades 1-4
During the school year, a workshop rotation model of Sunday School is used for
1st-4th graders
who begin their day attending worship. After Children's Time, they are dismissed
to the classrooms. One Bible theme is studied over four weeks in four different
ways. The lesson is introduced the first week to all children of
the session in the Sower Cinema. The second, third, and fourth weeks consist of three workshops: Apostles' Acting Company (puppets/drama), Parable Place Temple (Bible
lesson, skills & games), Disciples' Design (arts & crafts).
Grades 5-6
During the school year, the fifth and sixth graders begin their day
attending worship. After Children's Time, they are dismissed to class. Using the
Faith Files® curriculum, they uncover the mysteries of God's Word each Sunday.
Students take on the role of investigators by exploring a case file each week
where they interview witnesses through Bible exploration, and close in on the
Truth as they learn how to apply what they have learned in their own lives.
Grades 7-8
Students in 7th & 8th grades are eligible for Confirmation classes, and
attendance in worship is part of their study.
High School
Students in high school meet on the second and fourth Sunday mornings to discuss applications of
Christianity to their own daily lives.

Each Sunday morning from

used in the Sunday worship service. Members receive the Bible selections in
advance of the service (or choose the "Worship" link below) so they may read these during the week.
Lectionary
Pastor Steven Mindrup leads a
discussion of the Bible passages which will be used the following Sunday. This
class meets on Wednesday mornings, 9:15-10:15, in the church library.
Short-term Classes
